Tuesday, MARCH 13 – USA/Tel Aviv
Departure from Orlando to TEL AVIV. Dinner and breakfast on board.
Wednesday, MARCH 14 – TEL AVIV
Arrival at Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv- Reception, assistance and transfers to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Thursday, March 15
Tel Aviv · Jope · Cesarea · Mount Carmel · Tel Meguido · Tiberias
Buffet breakfast. Depart for a brief panoramic visit to the city of Tel Aviv – Yaffo, the ancient Joppa, place of Visit of Peter (Acts 10: 9-48) in the house of Simeon the leather tanner. We continue to Cesaréa, where Paul was arrested. We will visit the Roman theater, the racecourse and the aqueduct. We will continue to Haifa to visit Mount Carmel, where Elijah confronts the prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18: 20-40). In the afternoon visit Tel Meguido (Mount Meguido) and the valley of Armageddon (Apocalypse). We continue to the city of Tiberias in Galilee. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.
Friday, MARCH 16 – Tiberias – Yardenit – Tel Dan – Cesarea of Filipo (Banias) – Golan Heights (Mount Ben Tal)
Buffet breakfast. Departure to Yardenit baptismal site on the Jordan River – possibility of baptismal renewal. Then we will go for a walk through the vegetation of the region to the archaeological site of Tel Dan, a city from the time of King Solomon where there are still some arches of biblical times and also the famous “Gate of Abraham” dating from the year 1,750 AC, the time of the Canaanites. Then we will continue to Cesaréa de Filipe (Banias), at the birth of the Jordan River where we will visit the ruins of this ancient city and where Jesus made a statement to Simon Peter “On this rock I will build my church” (Matthew 16:18). Then we will ascend to the Golan Heights where we will visit Mount BenTal, and from this point we will see some villages on the Syrian side, including the city of Kuneitra. Then we will visit the site of the miracle where the demons were expelled from the two Gadarenes by Jesus – MITZPEH SHALOM in KIBBUTZ KFAR HARUV. Return to Tiberias – Dinner and accommodation.
Saturday, MARCH 17 – Tiberias – Capernaum – Magdala – Nazareth
Buffet breakfast. Early departure from our hotel to visit the archaeological site of Magdala (city of Mary Magdalene), inaugurated in May 2014, and has the ruins of a synagogue of the first century, we will continue to the Mount of the Beatitudes, site of the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7). We continue to Tabgha, the place where we have a multiplicity of loaves and fish, and to Capernaum, where we will visit the house of Peter and the ruins of a synagogue of the fourth century. Visit to the Kibbutz Ginossar, the Yigal Alon Museum, where a ship is exposed gives the time of Jesus found in the Sea of Galilee. Then we will take a boat trip on the Sea of Galilee. In the afternoon, we will visit Cana da Galilea, place of the first miracle of Jesus (John 2: 1-12) and a visit to the biblical village of Nazareth (Nazareth Village) where we will have an experience of knowing how a Nazarene was in the time of Jesus. Return to Tiberias. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Sunday, MARCH 18 – Tiberias – Beit Shean – Source of Gideon – Jericho – Jerusalem
Buffet breakfast. Out through the Jordan Valley to Beit Shean. Visit to the archaeological excavations of this city that was reconstructed by the Romans in the year 64 A.C. To be constituted in the capital of Decapolis. We will visit the fountain of Gideon where the test of the army of Gideon was realized (Judges 7: 1-8). We continue to the Jordan Valley to Jericho, one of the oldest cities in the world. We will continue crossing the desert of Judéa in the direction of Jerusalem. Biblical ceremony at the entrance of Jerusalem on Mount Scopus. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel in Jerusalem.
Monday, MARCH 19 – Jerusalem – Bethlehem
Buffet breakfast. We will begin our day in the City of David, visiting the Palace of David, the Wall of the Jebusites, the Hezekiah Tunnel and the tank of Siloam. Then we will visit the Cenacle, place of the last supper of Jesus and Pentecost (Luke 22: 14-30) and (Acts 2.1-13). In the afternoon, we will cross the border and visit Bethlehem visiting the First Bethlehem Baptist Church of Pastor Khoury, the rest of the day free for shopping. Dinner and accommodation.
Tuesday, MARCH 20 – Jerusalem
Buffet breakfast. Visit the archaeological park of the Davidson Center with the steps and the wall of the Temple of Jerusalem – Continue to the Wailing Wall, Esplanade of the Temple with the mosques of Omar of Al-Aqsa. Then we will go to the Mount of Olives to appreciate a magnificent view of the city of Jerusalem.
On the Mount of Olives Jesus gave us the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 18-20). We will descend on the road of Palm Sunday (Matthew 21: 1-11) and we will pass through the place where Jesus wept to see Jerusalem (Luke 19: 41-44) and made a prophecy – “There shall not one stone remain on stone” (Mark 13: 1-2) Dominus Flevit. We continue through the Garden of Gethsemane, place of the Agony of Jesus (Luke 22: 39-53). We will enter Jerusalem through the Lions Gate (or Sheep Gate), we will visit the Pool of Bethesda, where Jesus healed a paralytic (John 5: 1-18). Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Wednesday, MARCH 21 – Jerusalem – Dead Sea – Masada – Qumran – Ein Gedi
Buffet breakfast. Exit towards the Desert of Judéa. We will go up to Masada Fortress, site of the last battle of the Zealots against the Romans – visit to Herod’s Palace, Roman Baths, etc …. We will visit the lowest place in the world – the Dead Sea: 400 meters below the sea level. Free time to bathe in the Dead Sea and enjoy its wonderful medicinal waters. In the afternoon, we will visit the Biblical Oasis of Ein Gedi, where David saved the life of Saul (1 Samuel 24), and then continue to Qumran, the city of the Essenes where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Return to Jerusalem. Dinner and accommodation.
Thursday, MARCH 22 – JERUSALEM – USA
Buffet breakfast. We will leave early in the morning and participate in the Lord’s Supper in the Tomb Garden, with time to pray. Then we will visit the Museum of Israel and the Book Sanctuary with the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Model of Jerusalem in the Age of Jesus, and then transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for our return flight to the United States.
