Arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport, meet & assistance and transfer to the hotel. Dinner provided. Overnight in Tel Aviv.


Thursday, August 29

Tel Aviv • Jope • Caesarea by the Sea • Mount Carmel • Tel Meggido • Tiberias

Cesarea by the Sea

Breakfast Buffet. Depart for a brief panoramic visit to the city of Tel Aviv-Yafo, the ancient Joppa, place of Peter’s vision of the sheet with all unclean animals (Acts 10: 9-48) in the house of Simeon, the tanner. We continue to Caesarea by the Sea, where Paul was arrested and sent to Rome (Acts 25 and 26). We will visit the Roman theater, the hippodrome and the aqueduct. We will continue on to Mount Carmel, where Elijah confronts the prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18: 20-40). In the afternoon we visit Tel Megiddo (Mount Megiddo) and the valley of Armageddon (Revelation 16:13-16). We continue to the city of Tiberias in Galilee. Dinner at the hotel.


Friday, August 30

Tiberias • Yardenit • Tel Dan • Caesarea Philipi (Banias) • Golan Heights (Mount Bental)

Bautismo en el Río Jordán

Breakfast Buffet. We depart to Yardenit baptismal site on the Jordan River and possibility of baptismal renewal. We will walk through Tel Dan, from the time of King Solomon. We will see “Abraham’s Gate” dated 1750 BC, from the time of the Canaanites. We will continue to Caesarea Philippi (Banias), one of the springs that form the Jordan River. We will visit the ruins of this ancient city, where Jesus made a statement to Simon Peter “On this rock I will build my church” (Matthew 16:18). We will ascend to the Golan Heights and visit Mount Ben Tal, to see some villages in Syria. Next we will visit the site where Jesus expelled the demons from the Gerasene. (Mark 5:1-20) – Return to Tiberias – Dinner and overnight.


Saturday, August 31

Tiberias • Capernaum • Magdala • Nazareth

Barco en el Mar de Galilea

Breakfast Buffet. Early departure to visit the archaeological site of Magdala, with ruins of a synagogue of the first century. We will continue to the Mount of Beatitudes, site of the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7). We continue to Tabgha, the place of the multiplication of loaves and fish, and on to Capernaum to visit the house of Peter and the ruins of a synagogue of the fourth century. We will see a boat from the time of Jesus and we will take a boat trip on the Sea of Galilee. In the afternoon we visit Zippori, a major Roman and Byzantine city, the capital and heart of the Galilee. Next we visit Nazareth Village where we will experience Nazareth as it was in the time of Jesus. Return to Tiberias. Dinner and overnight.


Sunday, September 1

Tiberias • Beit Shean • Jericho • Jerusalem

Breakfast Buffet. We will depart through the Jordan Valley to Beit She’an, once the capital of the Decapolis. We move on to Gideon’s Spring where Gideon’s army was tested. (Judges 7: 1-8). We continue in the Jordan Valley to Jericho, one of the oldest cities in the world. Tel Jericho is an archeological site with crumbled walls and a Neolithic Tower (7000 to 8000 BC) and more… We will continue crossing the Judean Desert up to Jerusalem for a Biblical ceremony. Dinner & hotel in Jerusalem.


Monday, September 2


Buffet breakfast. We will visit Davidson Center with the steps and the wall of the Temple. We continue to the Western Wall and Temple Mount. Later we will visit the Church of the Cock Crow built on Ciapas’ house where Jesus’ first trial took place. We will go to the Mount of Olives for a magnificent view of the city of Jerusalem, where Jesus gave us the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 18-20). We will walk down the Palm Sunday path (Matthew 21: 1-11) and pass through the place where Jesus wept (Luke 19: 41-44). We continue through the Garden of Gethsemane, place of the Agony of Jesus (Luke 22: 39-53). We will enter Jerusalem through the Lions Gate (or Sheep Gate), to visit the Pool of Bethesda where Jesus healed a paralytic (John 5: 1-18). We will walk the Via Dolorosa to the Pavement of Antonia Fortress, where Jesus was crowned with thorns. The Herodian Quarter shows the opulence of the priest’s homes.


Tuesday, September 3

Jerusalem • Dead Sea • Masada • Qumran • Ein Gedi

Buffet breakfast. We will head toward the Judean Desert, and go up to the Masada Fortress, site of the last battle of the Zealots against the Romans – visit Herod’s Palace, the Roman Baths, etc … We will visit the lowest place in the world – the Dead Sea: 1312 feet below sea level. We will have free time to float in the Dead Sea and enjoy its wonderful medicinal waters. In the afternoon, we visit the Biblical Oasis of Ein Gedi, where David spared the life of Saul (1 Samuel 24), and then continue to Qumran, the city of the Essenes where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Return to Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight.


Wednesday, September 4

Jerusalem • Bridges for Peace • City of David

Buffet breakfast. We will leave early in the morning and participate in the Lord’s Supper in the Garden Tomb. Later we will visit the Shrine of the Book with the Dead Sea Scrolls and a Model of Jerusalem of Jesus’ Time in the Israel Museum. In the afternoon we will visit the Bridges for Peace headquarters to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. Later we go to explore the City of David. Dinner and overnight.


Thursday, September 5

International Travel

Breakfast and transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for our return flight to the United States.
